Hello everyone!!!

I'm so glad that we have an opportunity to stay connected since our last meeting in San Diego through this blog (Thanks Jean!). Feel free to send messages, posts, questions, comments. We all have the inner wisdom to share with one another!

Here is some info that I'd like to share with you:
UCLA's Higher Education Research Institute (Dr. Astin and Astin) recently completed a study looking at college students and faculty members and their experiences with spirituality and higher purpose. Their research questions include: What is the level and intensity of spiritual experiences among today's college students? How are spiritual searching and behavior changing on campus? And what does this mean for higher education institutions and students? Their study reveals some interesting findings about the need to incorporate spiritual practices in classrooms. What implications does this study have for K-12 formal and informal spaces?
More info can be found at www.spirituality.ucla.edu.

Also, if you get a chance, please let us know what are the spiritual practices (if any) you are incorporating into your daily lives. We'll all benefit from hearing about the various strategies that you use to work through difficult challenges!

Thanks for reading.

Until next time,
